Response to Criticisms

This post was put up in response to comments made on the Shibu post today morning. I rattled of reasons why I thought the commenters were foolish to even open their mouth. I have checked the I.P address and it appears that it was the same person. I will find out who this person was first, and then ban them from my website. I am leaving this post up because even though this commenter was the same person. Many people are making the same types of comments, creating blanket statements for entire communities. That is all, have a nice day. If you don't care about any of this stuff, please scroll down past this post to the Hurricane post.
My original Shibu post currently stands at 33 comments. I want to address two people who have made comments on this website attacking the Malayalee community. I'll repost the comments in all of it's glory:
I heard about what the Malayalee community is doing in Oregon. God can do miracles, but if you are moving forward with what prophets are saying in this time of false prophets, stop now. We are all kings and priests and parts of the New Testament Church, Hid bride. Brother Shibu has gone before us, and that is why we should rejoice. WHY do you wnat to drag him back to the world of pain and worry? From what I have heard in the time he was alive he did much more for Christ than any of us did. Then called His child home, his work on earth done in God's great master plan. I read Kimberly's prophecy, she is very blasphemous by saying he is the "reconciling of the nations" Come to God's presence with reverence, thousands dies in the Asian tsunami, why didnt anybody pray for at least one of them to raise up. Many lost souls are perishing every hour, yet you are praying over one who has lived his life for Christ and died a hero. I have lost my good opinion about the Pentacostal malayalee community. Rejoice that he has been promoted, do not demote him by attempting to bring him back. I have known Keralites as God's own people, and God's people need to get their minds straight with Him and move according to the Holy Spirit, not what man or woman, who look for fame, has to say
To the person above, I have a question. What exactly did you hear about the Malayalee community in Oregon? Did you hear real facts or did you just feed on the idiocy fed by the rumor mills around the world? Please get your facts right before you start with a blanket statement about an entire community. Let's assume you are a white individual, by your comment above- I can make a blanket statement just like you did and say that I have lost my good opinion about the White Christian community in Dallas because of your ridiculous statement above. You have not met even one whole percentage of the Malayalee Community in North America or Oregon for that matter, yet you seem to imply that you are the expert now. You have already made for yourself an opinion. If anyone is foolish enough to judge from afar without truly knowing the facts of the matter, I have lost my good opinion of you. But I wont condemn your entire community. That would just be asinine.
Secondly, this person had the audacity to comment right after the previous brother.
I agree with Severson in Dallas. I have lost respect for a community I believed was very spiritual and holy. May God's Spirit enlighten your darkened minds. Stop running after everything you hear. For our God is a jealous God, and He does not give His Glory to another!
Focus on only Christ, and this "reconciling of Ishmael" is a bunch of garbage! I grew up in missionary home, at young age I came to Christ, now God is still my Guide and my Hope at my older years. I can go at any time. To the Malayalee Community- Come Back to Christ!!
Once again, brother, if you were sincerely basing your opinions of the entire Malayalee community on one group of people, I would encourage yourself to check into a mental institution. By your own logic, you do no service to whatever ethnicity you serve. You are an embarrassment to whatever creed you hold. Every community has a diverse cross-section of beliefs whether they be Malayalee, White-American, African-American, or any other group. Because the Vineyard movement practise their beliefs does it mean that the entire North American Christian movement is the same? No! That is just silly.
UPDATE: On second thought, both commenters above sound really Malayalee to me.. what do you think? I wonder what their agenda is? Very Christ-like, dont you think? Spread rumors, falsify your name.. yeah Jesus was really into that. Hmm.. some people's IPs are gonna be banned from my site soon..
I ask you both to think about what you said and offer an apology to the Malayalee community. Do not marginalize us or group us all together to fit your frame of mind. Believe it or not, we are all unique individuals even if you think we all look the same.
By the way, in a continuation of the Shibu updates. The body has been taken out of the church. The funeral should be coming in a few days. Lets pray that God gives the family the peace that passeth all understanding.

Thanks for the updates on Shibu. As far as your misinformed commenters, I personally don't want their apology. What I do want is for them to get their information straight. How dare they pass judgment on an entire community and Shibu's loved ones. It is their right to pray for Shibu's life back. God says, "bring all your prayers and petitions before me." As their friends and members of their community, we are merely supporting them with our prayers that GOD'S WILL BE DONE. As far as prophecies go...they used some very harsh words to describe the words of Prophecy brought through Kimberly. Who are they to judge that what she said is false. So many lives have been touched through this tragedy and through Shibu's life...he was loving, faithful servant of God...so in essence, I believe that that word of prophecy will come true. Through the many lives he touched...there WILL be a reconciliation among the nations...and the sons of Ishmael!

I don't believe that praying for the raising of the dead is anything crazy to pray for...before Jesus assended to Heaven He told His disciples..."And you will do greater, for I go to my Father"- What did Jesus do while He was here? (Healed the sick, raised the dead, cleansed the Lepors, cast out demons)- He said we would do GREATER than these, so we're suposed to see greater! Why aren't we seeing anything in our days? Because we lack faith...it says in His word "Without Faith it is impossible to please God". Tyna there is a verse that very clearly says about the dead being raised. One is in Mathew 10:8
*Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.
How can we just ignore the rasing the dead part? We pray for the sick....because it says in His word and so we believe our God can heal...but within the same line of that verse why do we pass the rest?
Mathew 11:5
*The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
Hebrews 11:35
*Woman recieve back their dead raised back to life again.
If you actually read the word (we all should!!!) After Jesus assended into heaven, His own apostles prayed for the dead who were raised....this is all for Gods glory alone, not because Shibu was perfect, or his fam or the people praying......God set in their hearts to pray for something, and they are just obeying. No one prophecy is being relied on, It is clearly standing on the word of God! Even 3 years ago a man in Africa was raised from the dead, not only him but many througout the world were raised in our days, but why dont we see it in our lives or our community? Because everyone wants to play it safe. But when you pray for the dead, you might seem like a nut?=) If it doesn't happen you may fear that your reputation will be gone? It doesn't matter on what man thinks or says. Jesus Himself when stating that the dead was only asleep was laughed to scorn. I dont blame anyone who doesn't believe or make up their own versions of whats going on ignorantly, because even when my Jesus walked this earth, many who saw the miracles He performed still went away. I'm very sure that the family isn't begging for everyone to join them that aren't, if you want to join in prayer and if God leads you thats perfectly fine...but if you don't agree with it, just leave it alone, and let those who believe- believe and pray. It shouldn't be of anyones concern. God bless you all and have an AMAZING day!
In Him.
the chaff are posers, ..decoys...false
i dream of wheat fields....when o lord,...when...sigh :)

by the way i didn't accuse you of anything mr daycruz :D
peace
Joh 14:12 Indeed, I tell you truly, the one believing into Me, the works which I do, that one shall do also, and greater than these he will do, because I go to My Father.
I can think of one instance where Paul raised a man from the dead in Acts 20, butb Paul did not pray for the man for a prolonged period of time, he simply said "his life is in him" and the man rose. Even when Jesus raised the dead the result was instantaneous, he merely said "Rise" and they did. Unless i am mistaken, and correct me if i'm wrong, the Bible does not speak of praying for the ressurection of the dead for long periods of time. Yes Lazarus was in the grave for 3 days, but he rose immediately upon Christ's word.
Now in light of this, a new question: does scripture offer any suggestion that we must PRAY (in length or otherwise) for the dead to rise? If Matthew 10 applies to us, are we not then instructed to simply "raise the dead" (through the power of Jesus Christ), and not PRAY for the raising of the dead?
even if this is true, my question remains the same.
I just really think there are other things to worry about. whether those prophecies where blasphemous or not, is not for MY judgment. I am not GOD to decided what is wrong or right. I only believe that God is soveriegn and will be glorified no matter what the outcome of this situation is. The funeral is tomorrow (so i hear from oregon people), so lets let God do as GOD wishes.
- I hate when things turn into Theo/Political arguments -
I understand what you are saying, but remember the Lord has a part in this. Many of us are using this as a time to share and witness on a global scale. The Lord most likely couldn't be any happier. Be happy for we as Christians are coming together so that we may be one with the Lord. This is good in the eyes of the Lord. Let's continue to speak so that many will read, many will speak, and many will receive the LORD, because of this site and the unfortunate earthly tragedy. God is being glorified because we are uniting under his name.
Sincerely and The Lord Bless All!
he was a great friend of ours during his stay in india.
had a real good time when he was here.a real helping guy.helped us allot with our band and other youth meetings..its a big loss to us as a brother and friend.we're goona miss him real bad.
Shibu was a special person...how fortunate I am to have called him my brother in Christ.
He was a living treasure, and when a person has a friend like Shibu, he or she has found one of the most valuble gifts in life.
Let us come together and pray for the families who have lost such a gem...Our dear Shibu.
" He alone is great who turns the voice of the wind into a song made sweeter by his own loving..."
Love eternally,
Sister Ali of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
We love you, dear Shibu !
i had read through these comments previously, and i remember one commenting that they were worried about what would happen to the youth that were praying, if he had not raised. I just wanted to let everyone know, that we are even stronger in our walks with Christ. Shibu chach was an AMAZING ANOINTED man of God-everything that we prayed for we prayed in faith-it's good to know that so many children of God were touched by his life. He is definitely resting in Heaven, and we will see him soon! God bless you all! I pray that all of these comments-no matter which sides they were on, were all out of love for one another. Love conquers all things.
In Christ.
