possibly pcnak forum replacement

Indiepente.com

It will be interesting to see how many people start using this forum as a replacement. About the only thing I know about this site so far is that it has the standard forum interface and is easier on my eyes than the pcnak discussion board.

Mumbai Bombings

Posted on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at 22:16 by Registered Commenterdippuadmin in , , | Comments2 Comments

With the Mumbai bombings that have happened in these recent days, we would like to ask the readers if you know anything about the situation that's going on there. With the death toll now at 200+, we must ask questions once again with regards to growing world terrorism. Please feel free to respond in any way you see fit...we welcome your story. If you have pictures from the blast...please let us know your web url so we can show those pictures here on Dippu.

When 9/11 happened here in America, all of us felt the pain and scars. Right now all of us here would like to say that we grieve with those who have lost loved ones and are praying for all of you who have been affected by this situation.

with love,
dippuTeam

mexican t****i alert

if you've been craving some organically grown meat in your burrito, head over to chipotle  for some free range beef, chicken and pork.  Now this thendi alert would've gone out from bobby, but decruz  our mighty overlord has done something to the system and taken away bobby's rights.  Until that's fixed, I'm going to be pinch hitting. 140646985_f6f2c7bc8b_o.jpg

Oh!! yet another t****i alert

Posted on Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 10:53 by Registered Commenterbobby in | Comments38 Comments

I know it's been ages since I posted one ... but I just couldn't find one worth the deal till just a few minutes ago ...

Now this is what you have to do, if you don't have some money get some from Dad/Mom or Decruz (I hear he's been raking in a lot of moolah in the past 4-6 months) and then rush to the nearest Krispy Kreme store. All you have to do is buy a dozen doughnuts and you'll get a dozen Valentine cards along with your box of heavenly goodies. But here's the thendi cheap part of the whole thing, in each of the 12 cards, you will find a coupon for a free doughnut!! So all you have to do is go back to KK with the coupons (one by one, let's not be greedy Eating. here ... i've warned you about gluttony & roller-coaster rides already before!). So now, if you were successful in extracting the money from someone other than yourselves, you have been rewarded with a total of 24 Krispy Kreme doughnuts in return. Isn't life simply amazing?!?

What do you do with 12 Valentine cards? How do I know what kind of a shameless life you live? If you don't have anyone to send it to, atleast send it to the whole Dippu team or the cute guy in the team. Or better yet shred them, but don't forget to take the coupons from each of them.

Vagabond value vunce more!!

I write this with a huge (trust me when I say it's huge) SMILE on my face ...

Would you believe me if I said you can get 10 minutes of thrill (or more depending on how lucky you are), and then be handed a $25 Best Buy gift certificate at the end of it?

All you have to do is go to the nearest Mazda dealer, ask them for a test drive of the new Mazda 3. (Show them how interested you are in it, and how it so pefectly fits your budget & solves all your material hardships ... even if you don't have any) Then at the end of the test drive, when they take you inside the showroom, tell them you'd like to ruminate about it in your own private time & space, but wouldn't mind having the $25 Best Buy gift certificate while you think about it.

Click on the picture to get started. ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM ...

Mazda 3

WARNING!! If you see more than one Indian waiting to test drive a Mazda 3, I suggest you run as far and as fast as you can from there, before you get hit by a spanner thrown by some disgruntled salesman with a "I-cant-stand-these-cheap-brownies" look.

deeper walk...youth retreat

Posted on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at 09:21 by Registered Commenterdippuadmin in , , , | CommentsPost a Comment

We here at Dippu, would like to announce a youth retreat geared toward high school and college age youth. Deeper Walk will bring together youth of the Northwest, for a weekend of worship, teaching, and fellowship. It's going to be held in Vancouver, BC on November 11, 12, and 13. It's a WPC youth event in association with SAC.

What do we plan to do here? This is a brand new event that's starting this year. It's a time of refreshing and equipping for youth. Benita Joy is the organiser for this whole event, and if you would like more information regarding this, please contact her through her website. We'll post more about this here as we get more news, but just wanted to give you all a heads up to start planning for attending this.

thanks,
dippuTeam
